I have been to Stirr it up a few times since I last blogged and the other day finally took some pictures! Once again everything was amazing. From the friendly service to the amazing coffee and tasty food. I was one happy foodie!
Hubby came to Stirr it up with me and after going through their menu he decided on the hamburger but asked if they could do grilled chicken instead. As always there were more than accommodating. I chose the steak sandwich with fries and of course my weak latte!
My latte was so good that when I was almost half way through it I decided to take a picture for you all. Even at half full it looks as good as it tastes. Full of milk chocolate notes and a woody undertone to pack a punch!
Hubbys burger tasted delicious and was full of toppings. The pattie was a good size and the meal itself was quite generous.
My steak sandwich was soft and tender and so generous that I couldn’t eat it all. One thing about Stirr it up is that they cook with love and you can taste and see it in the food.
Also there is a great option of ready made meals for you to take. And while you are there don’t forget to check out the community notice board!
My score today for Stirr it up is a 9.2/10 because they are consistently wonderful!

Today I have the pleasure of popping into Stirr it Up, a cool warehouse cafe located in the heart of Ringwood, surrounded by businesses and on Maroondah Hwy you can see why business is booming!
I stopped on my way home from a meeting and met the lovely Julie and her team. Julie was all smiles and made me very welcome. I asked her a bit about her cafe and she has only been there since last year so not even a year yet! With a passion for coffee and a love for people Julie decided to open her own cafe after working many years in the industry. Below is a picture of Julie and as you can see her smile is welcoming! The coffee was a stand out for me and upon asking where they bought their beans I found out that they use beans from Axil which is located in Hawthorn and that all the staff are trained there!! Now as someone who is a lover of Axil coffee I was surprised to find it so far east but also delighted! The crema was soft and golden and my latte had such a creamy texture that I never wanted it to end!
As it was late afternoon I was feeling a little hungry and decided to try the sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and icecream! To say the least it was a little naughty but oh so good! Like a volcanic eruption my taste buds did a little dance and I closed my eyes as I savoured little clouds of pudding on the spoon. It was light and fluffy and left me feeling satisfied unlike the sickly feeling that some puddings give.
The team was wonderful and chatted to me as they served me and everyone in the cafe seemed to be smiling and there was a buzz in the air! The music was very soulful, perfect for a cafe atmosphere and the wall art and decor was hip and urban! (Sadly I did not get any pics)
So my score out of 10 for Stirr it Up would be a 9/10, only because I don’t ever give 10’s 😉
Until next time… Annie Bean xx
