Hi again, it has been so wonderful to share the new Eastland with you all. Today I went to the library and it was so much fun! I took Miss 3 going on 13 and we got there in time for story reading. They are having it all day today on the hour! The story was told in a cool kids hub with books, cushions, a reading dome and computers with educational games.
Looking around the library i saw reading pods set up to give people a quiet little nook and was thrilled at the thought of blogging in there. They also had a pod set up for kids to colour in! There is lots of computers for people to use and plenty of books to choose from. Next time I am going by myself so I have explore a little more.
I then went into the town centre where it was buzzing with activity. Cooking demonstrations and classes for things such as pastas and pasta sauces and there was also live entertainment! With the perfect weather it really set the scene.
I then went to look at some more stores and drooled over Oroton and am thinking that I should of married a rich man.. Not really, I love you Mr Bean xx.. Stores such as Mecca Cosmetica and MAC made me squeal in delight and it is going to be really difficult to choose my beauty essentials now! I might needs some tips!
Fashion brands such as Laurent, Kookai, Gorman and Sass and Bide lined the new mall and begged for me to shop there. At this stage I must resist (Until pay day!)
Street machine was a nice surprise for urban wear and I can see Mr Bean getting some new threads from there. Not far from there was Harris Scarfe which isn’t as big as i thought it would be but a decent size for Eastland.
The 2 favourite shops of mine though were Pimp my mobile and Zing pop culture! I totally went nerd girl and when I was in Zing I totally marvelled over all things Marvel, DC, adventure time, Star wars, COD and so much more!! It will def be the place where most of my Christmas shopping will be done!
So that is day 2 of exploring.. I am sure that there is much more. Tell me your favourites and things that I have missed but must see!
Much love, Annie Bean xx
